What certification actually costs and how long it actually takes are the two questions this industry answers least clearly. These datasets collect every figure the certifiers themselves publish — attributed, dated, and honest about what is not published.

Two indexes, updated by hand

Each index names its source and check-date on every row, and each ships as a downloadable CSV. No figure is estimated, extrapolated or rumored — if a certifier does not publish it, the row says so.

Method

How these indexes are compiled

A figure enters an index only when the certifier itself publishes it — a fee schedule, a program FAQ, a stated timeline. Each row records where the figure is published and the date a human last checked it. V-Cert's own rows follow the same rules: we publish no fee matrix, and the timeline row carries the same qualifier we print beside every speed claim on this site.

Corrections welcome — if a certifier updates a published figure, write to us via the contact page and we will re-verify and re-date the row.
